- Enter your phone's numberer and enter * # 06 #, which will display your device's IMEI number. If the result indicates Null, the IMEI number of your device has been damaged and you must take the necessary measures to resolve this problem.
- To resolve the problem, dial * # * # 197328640 # * # * from the number on your device. Alternatively, you can also dial * # 197328640 #. By dialing this number, you will enter command mode on your phone.
- Make sure you select Common on your device.
- Now choose the first option which must be the field test mode (FTM). If you find that FTM is enabled, disable it. Once you have dyed FTM, press the Menu button and your IMEI number should be restored.
- To deactivate FTM, you must press option 2 using the key.
- Remove the battery from your device (if you have a removable battery) and also remove the SIM card from your device.
- Wait two minutes and reinsert the battery, but do not replace the SIM card.
- Turn on the device and, from the dialer, enter the number * # 197328640 # again.
- Access the Debug screen menu and press Phone Control.
- Then you need to press Nas Control, then RRC. The last step is to tap on RRC Revision and tap on Released.
- After completing these steps, turn off your phone and reinsert the SIM card.

Solution 8: reset to factory settings

- Access the Settings menu of your device
- Now find the mobile network settings and tap on it
- Stay on the same screen, press and hold the power key and the Home key on your device until the phone turns off.
- Remove from the battery of your device if it is removable
- Now press and release the home button and the power button together. Do this 10 times.
- After that, press and hold the Power and Home keys for at least one minute. By doing this, you will be able to drain any static charge present in the phone circuits.

- Do not put the cover on the back of the appliance

- You will be asked to restart the device

What if I use a custom ROM and get this error?
The error of absence of signal was noted on certain devices endowed with a personalized ROM memory. In such a case, it is advisable to return the original ROM and check if the problem is solved. Then you will know that the ROM is not suitable for your device. The original ROM can be installed using the recovery screen. The process will delete all data and delete the apps from your device. So be sure to create a backup of all important data that you don't want to lose.
You can find the ROM you need by using the help of your device model number which can be found in the About device section in the Settings menu. What should I do if I think that one of the applications may be causing the problem?
