You can see the location simply by opening the photo details. On some devices, geolocation is activated by default, on other devices not, but above all, you can deactivate it. How to disable geolocation on Android devices

To disable geolocation on Android devices, follow these steps:

  • Open the Camera app on your Android smartphone or tablet
  • Press three horizontal lines to open the menu
  • Now press the gear icon
  • You will see the camera settings
  • Tap the GPS tag (on some devices, this option is named differently, for example, geo tag, location tag, etc.) and turns it off.

Voil. Location tracking will now be disabled and the location on photos and videos you have taken with your Android device will not be saved.
