If your PC is not steinting properly or refuses to boot normally, Safe Mode is your best friend.

Unlike Windows XP, Vista or 7, where you only have to press the F8 key when launching your PC, booting in safe mode is not so obvious in Windows 8 and 10.

Note that from January 14, 2020, Windows 7 is coming out and will no longer receive updates from Microsoft. It is therefore recommended to switch to Windows 8 or 10.

Why use Safe Mode?

In safe mode, your computer boots with its basic programs and drivers.

Windows will only load the drivers that are strictly necessary for it, such as those for the mouse or the graphics card.

In addition, your computer will not connect to the internet. So if a virus is present on your PC, its condition cannot get worse.

It is therefore easier to identify and correct problems encountered by your PC, without modifying your data or your hardware.
