Instagram is a relatively new social media platform that has taken young people by storm. Not only has the download of applications accelerated, but more and more content has been published by several people. This photo sharing platform allows you to connect with more and more people in the world thanks to the sharing of photos and videos. Instagram is the reason why the use of Facebook has decreased and today, Instagram offers a lot of new features that did not exist before. More and more teens and adults have started using this social media platform to change the way we communicate with people.

With new features coming every day, Instagram is still coming with the app's data download feature. It is available on the web version but not on the app. There are many other features Instagram has to offer. Just like Snapchat, Instagram now has a history feature where everything you post as your story disappears within 24 hours, unless you have the story archived in the app. You can also use the ?Direct Message? function where you can chat with people without the knowledge of the world.

How to download all your Instagram data

Speaking of downloading data, it's easy to do. It sounds daunting at first, but it really isn't. Just follow the steps below to upload your data to Instagram:

1. Go to instagram.com.2. Click the gear icon next to the "Edit profile" option and select "Privacy and security". 3. Scroll down to ?Downloading data?. 4. Click on ?Request download?. 5. Enter your e-mail address in case it does not appear automatically, then click on ?Next? .6. Enter your password and click on ?Request download?.

Once you do that, Instagram will create a different folder on your phone to store all of the photos and videos you have shared. This process will take around 24 hours, and you will need to give it time. Instagram will also send you a link to make it easier for you to download.

Until Instagram offers better functionality for downloading data, you will need to wait for the download for at least 48 hours. If you haven't shared too much on the app, chances are that downloading will be faster and easier. But if there are too many data, it will certainly take 48 hours.
