16 confirmed characters, free DLC and no game variations

Announced a few months ago, Street Fighter V will be the next installment of Capcom's famous fighting game. This new opus will offer its share of new features, starting with the use of the Unreal Engine 4 graphics engine, as well as a range of readjusted moves.

Street Fighter 5 - 2As part of the EVO 2015 which took place this weekend in Las Vegas, the Japanese studio announced that Street Fighter 5 will have 16 playable characters at launch. It is specified that 4 of them will be completely new in the series and will soon benefit from a revelation.

Capcom also pointed out that all gameplay tweaks and character additions following the launch of the game (in the form of DLC) will be totally free. This is great news for the fans.

Finally, the Japanese company confirmed that Street Fighter V will be the only version of the game which will be adjusted as needed over time through updates and DLC. There will therefore be no question of Super or Ultra versions.

Remember that Street Fighter 5 will be released during spring 2016 on PC and PS4.
